It sure feels like autumn is here finally. Fall is also the festival season in Japan. We hope everyone enjoys many variations of fall-winter activities in the next few months!
Halloween
Party
We had a great
Halloween party on Oct. 20 (Sat.). We
were very happy to see most of the children in their cute unique costumes! The annual X’mas party will also be held
soon. Let’s have even more fun, kids!
Danny, our devoted and beloved teacher, is going to finish working at Pacific soon. She is definitely one of the best teachers we have had at our school. So many of her students expressed to us their regrets about her leaving and wished her well in future endeavors. We would like to apologize to our students about the misinformation and confusion about teacher changes this time, thank Danny for her understanding and cooperation regarding the matter, and thank everyone who attended the Farewell Party held on the 21st on such short notice.
New Teacher Aboard!
Our new teacher Sherae Wills has recently started working with us at Pacific and we already feel confident that she will be a strong addition to our school. Some of you may have already met her, but due to the circumstances, all of Danny’s students will be introduced to Sherae in the second week of November. Enjoy her lessons!
Kid’s Eiken
It was held on October 27 (Sat.) with 15 students. Everyone tried very hard and we believe it was a great opportunity for the children and parents to see the improvements. The results should be returned from the Eiken Association within a month or so.
The winter holiday season is on its way. We usually receive a number of schedule change requests from our students and some at the very last minute, which makes it very difficult to provide the desired changes. We appreciate your cooperation in informing us as far in advance as possible to ensure a smooth rescheduling process. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the schedule during the holiday, please inquire with the office, Mon?Fri, 12 noon?5 p.m.
生徒の皆様へ
ようやく秋が訪れたように感じられます。日本では秋もお祭りのシーズンですね。これからの数ヶ月、秋冬たくさんのイベントがあるかと思いますが、皆様が楽しく過ごされることを願っております。
ハロウィンパーティー
10月20日（土）に行われたハロウィンパーティーはおかげさまで盛況のうちに終了いたしました。たくさんのお子様が、それぞれ独自の可愛らしい衣装を着て参加してくださり、とても嬉しかったです！次のイベントは、毎年恒例のクリスマスパーティーですね。さらに楽しいイベントとなるように頑張りますので、又のご参加をお待ちしております！
いつも熱心で、皆さんに愛されるダニー先生でしたが、残念ながら数日でパシフィックを退職されます。歴代パシフィック講師の中でもトップクラスに入る最高の先生の一人だということにご賛同の声が多いかと思います。たくさんの生徒さんから、ダニー先生の帰国を残念だが今後も頑張ってほしい、という心からのお言葉を頂きました。
当校としては、まず、今回の講師変更に際して誤情報や混乱があったことを生徒の皆様にお詫びし、ダニーの理解と協力に感謝したいと思います。そして、10月21日（日）に開催されたダニー先生のお別れＢＢＱは、急であったのにもかかわらずご出席いただいた方々にお礼を申し上げます。
我が校の新しい講師、シュレイ・ウィリアムズ先生のレッスンが開始して数日ですが、すでに彼女が当校の素晴らしい戦力となるであろうことをスタッフ一同実感しております。シュレイ先生のレッスンをすでに受けられた方もいらっしゃるかと存じますが、現時点では、ダニー先生のレッスンをすべてシュレイ先生が引き継ぐのは11月の2週目を予定しております。新しい先生のレッスンもお楽しみいただけることと思います！
児童英検
10月27日（土）には、15人のお子様を対象に児童英検を開催いたしました。皆さんとても一生懸命取り組んでくれていましたよ。お子様自身にとっても、保護者の方々にも、これまでの成果を見るための良い機会となったのではないでしょうか。結果は通常1ヶ月前後で英検協会から送られてきますので、お楽しみに。
