Dear Students,
Wow! What a cold winter for a change. It’s nice to look back at the mountains of Tokushima and see white instead of brown. Can’t say that I’m not looking forward to spring, though.

As you know, Jon Mesenbrink finished up with Pacific at the end of February. We hope you enjoyed his lessons and we would like to wish both he and Chiaki (his wife) the best of luck in the U.S. Jon will be around for a couple of weeks wrapping things up so you might have a chance to say goodbye again.

Trevor Mearns is taking over Jon’s position. We are very happy to have Trevor on board and look forward to working together. We hope you enjoy his lessons. Please try hard and never hesitate to let us know if you have any requests.

We would like to thank you for putting in your schedule requests early. Spring is a good time to realign lesson schedules, and restart with a fresh burst of energy. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

生徒の皆様へ

　季節はまだまだ寒い冬のままです。徳島の山々を見ると茶色から白にかわっています。とは言ってもやはり、春が待ち遠しいこの頃です。

　生徒の皆様もご存知の通り、ジョン・メセンブリンク先生が2月の末でパシフィックを去りました。生徒の皆様は、ジョン先生とのレッスンを楽しまれたことと思います。また、ジョン先生と奥様のちあきさんのアメリカでの新生活が幸せいっぱいのものとなることを願っています。ジョン先生は帰国の準備などで後2週間ほどは徳島に滞在予定です。生徒の皆様にとっては、お別れを言う時間があるかと思います。

　トレヴァー・マーンズ先生がジョン先生の後任となります。パシフィックにトレヴァー先生が加わって下さることを講師・スタッフ一同うれしく思っています。生徒の皆様はトレヴァー先生と楽しいレッスンができることでしょう。レッスンなどに対するご質問・ご要望などがございましたらご遠慮なくスタッフの方へお申し付けください。

生徒の皆様には、来春からのスケジュール変更・確認に、早々にご検討、ご協力いただき誠に有難うございます。春という季節は英会話に対する意欲もより強いものとなり、レッスンスケジュールの見直しにもとても最適な時期です。皆様のご要望にお応えできますよう、努力をして参ります。どうぞよろしくお願い致します。
