Dear Students,

Well, another spring is just about over. We hope you enjoyed your Golden Week vacation at the beginning of the month. Soon we'll be in the rainy season and then the humid summer of Japan. Time flies!

Kid's Eiken
The application period for the Kid's Eiken is over. We would like to encourage the "challengers" to do their best with their preparation for the test. And, of course, good luck with the test itself! If you have any questions regarding the test. or how to best prepare for it, please consult with the office staff.

Tuition
We would kindly like to request a more punctual submission of the tuition envelopes. We dislike having to mention such a matter, but it would greatly assist us in preparing the tuition envelopes/newsletters and sending them out on time. Thank you for your cooperation.

10 Tips For Better Learning (Children)
As always, we encourage participation and feedback from the parents as well as the students themselves. Below are some tips for better
learning:

1) prepare for the lesson
2) review the previous lessons
3) complete the homework
4) encourage the child to fully participate in class
5) promote positive behavior in the classroom
6) understand what your child is learning(the curriculum)
7) try to explain(Japanese is OK) the differences between the English language and the Japanese language
8) set realistic goals for your child(it takes a long time to learn a language) and praise your child for his or her effort
9) try to use some English with your child in daily life--make it fun and try to use language similar to what the child is learning. This might seem unnatural, but it really helps.

10) consult with the Pacific staff and teachers whenever you feel the necessity.

Of course, the tips above are important for all learners, regardless of age. We would like to have a positive and nurturing learning environment where all students can make the most of their efforts.

【生徒の皆様へ】

今年の春もそろそろ終わりに近付いています。皆様のゴールデンウィークは、楽しい思い出となったことと思います。すぐに梅雨のシーズンが到来し、日本独特な蒸し暑い夏がやって来ます。時間が経つのは本当に早いですね。

【児童英検】

　児童英検の申込みが終了しました。“チャレンジャー”たちがテストに向け努力する姿勢に心から応援したく思います。幸運を祈っています。児童英検に関して質問などがありましたら、ご遠慮なくオフィススタッフにお申し出下さい。

【月謝】
　毎月のお月謝の件ですが、郵送にて受取られた後の最初のレッスン時にお支払いいただきますよう、御願い申し上げます。お月謝について言及は避けたいのですが、次月のスケジュールを記入した月謝袋をニューズレターと同封し月末に発送するためには、期限内でのお支払いが必要となって参ります。ご協力をお願い申し上げます。

【英会話を学ぶ姿勢１０のヒント（Kidsの皆さまへ）】

　生徒の皆様からだけではなく、保護者の方々のご参加、ご意見をいつものようにお待ち申し上げております。

１）レッスンの準備をしましょう

２）レッスンの復習をしましょう

３）宿題を必ずやりましょう

４）レッスンに毎回参加できるようにしましょう

５）お子様へ教室内で積極的な姿勢がもてるよう働きかけてください

６）お子様のレッスン、カリキュラムを把握してください

７）英語と日本語の違いをお子様へ説明してください

８）お子様にとって現実的なゴール、目標を定めてあげてください（一つの言語を習得するにはかなりの時間が必要となります）お子様の努力を褒めてあげてください

９）日常生活において少しでも英語を使ってください…楽しんで、お子様達が学んでいるフレーズなどに似通った言葉を使ってみてください

もしかすると非日常的な会話になるかもしれませんが、とても効果的です

10）必要性を感じられたらいつでもパシフィックのオフィススタッフ、講師に相談をしてください

もちろんこれらは、キッズの皆様だけではなく、全ての英会話を学ぶ方々へのヒントとなります。生徒の皆様の努力が最大限活かされ、成長を促進する学習に相応した環境が必要だと思います。一番大事なのは、英会話を楽しむことです！
